Your work profile
- Design, implement, and manage network security solutions including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, WAF, and DDoS protection
- Configure and manage firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco ASA)
- Deploy and manage Web Application Firewall (WAF) to protect web applications from OWASP Top 10 threats
- Implement and manage DLP (Data Loss Prevention) solutions to safeguard sensitive data (data in motion, at rest, and in use)
- Monitor and mitigate DDoS attacks using enterprise-grade tools and traffic analysis techniques
- Analyze network traffic and security alerts to detect, investigate, and respond to threats
- Perform network security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and risk mitigation
- Implement secure network architecture, segmentation, and Zero Trust principles
- Configure and manage VPNs (IPSec, SSL VPN – site-to-site & remote access)
- Collaborate with SOC and Incident Response teams during security incidents
- Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS benchmarks
- Maintain security documentation, SOPs, and playbooks
Key skills required:
- Experience: 4–6 years in Network Security with a heavy focus on Check Point.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, BGP, OSPF)
- Hands-on experience with:
- Firewalls: Palo Alto / Fortinet / Cisco / Check Point
- WAF solutions (e.g., F5, Imperva, Cloudflare, AWS WAF)
- DLP tools (e.g., Symantec DLP, Forcepoint, Microsoft Purview)
- DDoS protection solutions (e.g., Arbor, Cloudflare, Akamai)
- IDS/IPS systems and proxy solutions
- Experience with SIEM tools (QRadar, Splunk) for log analysis and correlation
- Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques
- Experience with network traffic analysis and packet inspection tools
- Understanding of threat landscape, attack vectors, and defense mechanisms
- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) including native security controls
- Scripting/automation skills (Python, Bash) are a plus
- Education: Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
