Your work profile

• Core ABAP Development: Design and implement complex objects using standard and advanced ABAP techniques (Object-Oriented ABAP, Reports, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancements).
• Data Modeling with CDS: Create, optimize, and extend Core Data Services (CDS) views, utilizing advanced features like annotations, associations, and table functions for high-performance data extraction.
• OData Service Provisioning: Develop, test, and expose secure Gateway OData services (REST-based) using SEGW or via modern RAP (ABAP RESTful Application Programming) / BOPF frameworks.
• S/4HANA Migration & Optimization: Adapt, remediate, and optimize custom legacy ABAP code to run seamlessly on the SAP HANA database.
• Fiori Integration: Collaborate closely with UI5/Fiori front-end developers to ensure smooth data binding, debugging, and end-to-end integration.
• Performance Tuning: Analyze and troubleshoot runtime errors using tools like ST05 (SQL Trace), SAT, and ATC (ABAP Test Cockpit) to ensure top-tier performance.
• Technical Documentation: Author comprehensive technical specifications, code documentation, and unit test plans following industry best practices.

Key skills required

• 5-8 years of overall experience in SAP ABAP Technical Consultant hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, enhancements, integrations, CDS and OData.
• The candidate should have strong knowledge of ABAP programming and experience working with functional teams to deliver solution independently. They should have basic functional understanding of FI/SD/MM module. 

Education:

• Bachelors: Commerce/ Science / Engineering background from a premier institute preferred
