Your work profile

• As a SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test), required to be hands-on in automation design and development. Actively write, review, and optimize automation code, contribute to framework architecture, build reusable components, and ensure engineering best practices are consistently followed. You will embed automation within CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing at scale. 8+ years of relevant experience in software testing and automation, including significant hands-on coding experience as an SDET with a proven track record in delivering scalable automation solutions across enterprise
• Candidates will be evaluated based on their coding and logical skills and will be required to solve coding challenges during the technical rounds.

 Key skills required

• 7 -10 years of experience
• UI and functional testing: Cypress, Playwright
• AI testing, API testing, Performance testing, BDD frameworks: Cucumber, SpecFlow

1. Automation Expertise (Mandatory)

• Proficient in Cypress using JavaScript (Node.js)/ TypeScript for end-to-end web application testing. 
• Strong experience in API test automation through code (not Postman), leveraging Cypress/ Rest Assured for deeper integration and control. 
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable test scripts, suitable for SDET roles requiring hands-on coding is mandatory

2. Technical Proficiency (Mandatory)

• Solid programming skills in JavaScript/ TypeScript. 
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and version control systems for seamless integration and deployment. 
• Experience in DevOps environments, including: 
• Configuring GitLab CI/CD 
• Familiarity with test management tools like IBM Jazz, Quality Center, JIRA or similar platforms.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
