Job Summary

We are looking for a talented SAP ABAP Analyst to design, develop, enhance, and support SAP applications within the Oil & Gas domain. The ideal candidate will possess strong SAP ABAP development expertise, experience in custom development and support activities, and the ability to work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver scalable SAP solutions.

The role involves developing custom SAP objects, troubleshooting technical issues, supporting integrations, and contributing to SAP transformation and modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain SAP ABAP applications and custom developments.
• Develop and support:
• Reports (Classical, Interactive, ALV)
• Interfaces
• Conversions
• Enhancements
• Forms and Workflows
• SAP Scripts, SmartForms, and Adobe Forms
• Data Migration Programs
• Analyze technical and functional requirements and prepare technical design documents.
• Work closely with SAP functional teams including MM, SD, FICO, PM, PS, IS-U, and DMS to implement business requirements.
• Develop and maintain custom enhancements using:
• User Exits
• Customer Exits
• BAdIs
• Enhancement Framework
• Build and support integration solutions using:
• BAPI
• RFC
• IDoc
• ALE
• OData Services
• Web Services
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, defects, and performance bottlenecks.
• Participate in unit testing, SIT, UAT, deployment, and post-production support activities.
• Prepare technical specifications, code documentation, and knowledge-transfer materials.
• Support SAP upgrades, migrations, and S/4HANA transformation initiatives.

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP Development.

• CDS Views (preferred)
• AMDP (preferred)
• Understanding of SAP S/4HANA development concepts and technologies.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori, UI5, and SAP Gateway services is desirable.
• Experience in performance tuning, debugging, and code optimization.
• Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager and transport management processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• SAP ABAP Certification preferred.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing, or Asset-Intensive Industries is highly desirable.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or transformation projects.
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development is an added advantage.
