Your work profile

• As a SAP MM Analyst to support and optimize procurement, inventory management, and material management processes within the Oil & Gas industry. Should possess strong functional expertise in SAP MM, experience in support and enhancement projects, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and cross-functional SAP teams.
• The role involves analyzing business requirements, configuring SAP MM solutions, supporting end users, and ensuring seamless integration with related SAP modules.
• Provide functional support and maintenance for SAP MM processes, including: Procurement and Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Master Management, Vendor Master Management, Goods Receipt and Goods Issue, Invoice Verification, Stock Transfers and Physical Inventory
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
• Configure SAP MM settings and support system enhancements.
• Resolve production support issues and service requests within agreed SLAs.
• Support procurement operations, inventory optimization, and supply chain processes.
• Collaborate with business users to improve material and procurement workflows.
• Work closely with SAP FI, SD, PM, EWM, and other cross-functional teams on integration-related activities.
• Participate in system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment activities.
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, and end-user training materials.
• Support data validation, master data governance, and process compliance activities.
• Assist in SAP upgrades, transformation initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.

Key skills required

• Should have atleast 2-3 years of Strong experience in SAP Sales & Distribution (SAP SD)
• Strong experience in SAP MM configuration and support.
• Hands-on knowledge of: Purchasing and Procurement, Inventory Management, Vendor and Material Master Data, Invoice Verification, Release Strategies, Valuation and Account Determination, Stock Management Processes
• Understanding of integration with: SAP FI (Finance), SAP SD (Sales & Distribution), SAP PM (Plant Maintenance)
• SAP EWM/WM (preferred)
• Experience in incident management, change requests, and enhancement delivery.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA MM processes is preferred.
• SAP MM Certification preferred.
• Experience in Oil & Gas industry operations, procurement, and inventory processes is highly desirable.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects is an advantage.
• Graduate degree (Science or Engineering) – B.E/B.Tech/M.E/ M.Tech.
