Your work profile

• As a SAP PS Analyst to support project planning, execution, monitoring, and financial control processes within the Oil & Gas domain. Should have hands-on experience in SAP Project Systems (PS) and a strong understanding of project lifecycle management, cost planning, budgeting, resource management, and integration with other SAP modules.
• The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, supporting day-to-day operations, resolving system issues, and driving process improvements to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide functional support for SAP Project Systems (PS) processes and solutions.
• Configure and maintain SAP PS components, including: Project Definition, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Networks and Activities, Milestones, Cost Planning and Budgeting, Project Settlement, Resource Planning and Monitoring
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Support project planning, execution, tracking, and reporting activities.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, commitments, and actual expenditures.
• Resolve production incidents, service requests, and enhancement requirements within SLA timelines.
• Collaborate with project managers, finance teams, procurement teams, and technical teams.
• Participate in system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment activities.
• Support project reporting and analytics requirements.
• Prepare functional documentation, process flows, test scripts, and training materials.
• Ensure compliance with organizational governance, audit, and project management standards.
• Contribute to SAP transformation, upgrade, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key skills required

• Should have atleast 2-3 years of Strong experience in SAP Sales & Distribution (SAP SD)
• Strong functional experience in SAP Project Systems (PS).
• Hands-on experience with: Project Structuring and WBS Management, Cost Planning and Budget Management, Network Activities and Scheduling, Project Settlement Processes, Revenue Recognition Concepts, Resource Planning and Tracking, Progress Analysis and Project Reporting
• Strong understanding of project accounting and project cost control.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Project Systems functionalities is preferred.
• Understanding of integration with: SAP FI/CO, SAP MM, SAP PM, SAP SD
• Experience supporting incidents, enhancements, and change requests.
• SAP PS Certification preferred.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, Capital Projects, or Asset-Intensive Industries is highly desirable.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or transformation programs is an advantage.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
• Graduate degree (Science or Engineering) – B.E/B.Tech/M.E/ M.Tech.
