Your work profile

• As an experienced SAP FICO Manager with strong expertise in SAP IS-U (Industry Solution Utilities) to lead finance transformation initiatives, support business operations, and drive SAP S/4HANA roadmap activities. Should  possess deep functional knowledge of SAP Finance and Controlling modules and hands-on experience integrating SAP FICO with SAP IS-U processes in utility organizations.
• Key responsibilities should:

SAP FICO Functional Leadership

• Lead the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP FI and CO modules.
• Configure and support:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting (AA)
• Bank Accounting
• Cost Center Accounting
• Profit Center Accounting
• Internal Orders
• Product Costing
• Profitability Analysis (COPA)
• Manage month-end and year-end financial closing activities within SAP.

SAP IS-U Integration

• Design and support integration between SAP FICO and SAP IS-U.
• Work closely with business teams on:
• Billing and Invoicing
• Contract Accounts Receivable & Payable (FI-CA)
• Meter-to-Cash processes
• Revenue Accounting
• Collections and Dunning
• Ensure seamless financial postings from IS-U billing processes into SAP FI/CO.

Project & Stakeholder Management

• Lead requirement gathering workshops with business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
• Manage SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.
• Coordinate with technical, basis, ABAP, and cross-functional teams.
• Drive UAT, training, deployment, and hypercare activities.

Team Management

• Lead and mentor SAP FICO consultants and analysts.
• Review solution quality and ensure adherence to SAP best practices.
• Manage resource planning, project timelines, and deliverables.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with financial controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Support statutory reporting, taxation, and financial governance processes.
• Establish SAP support and change management procedures.

Key skills required.

• 10+ years of SAP FICO implementation/support experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years of SAP IS-U/FI-CA experience.
• Strong expertise in: SAP FI, SAP CO, SAP FI-CA, IS-U Billing Integration
• Experience in at least 2 end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
• Strong understanding of utility industry business processes.
• Experience with business process analysis, solution design, and stakeholder management.
• SAP S/4HANA Finance experience.
• SAP Fiori exposure.
• Experience in SAP Central Finance.
• Knowledge of GST, Indian taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Experience in utilities, power distribution, water, gas, or energy sectors.
• Graduate degree (Science or Engineering) – B.Sc ( I.T), B.Sc ( Computer Science ) , B.E/B.Tech or MBA
