The Associate Consultant will be deployed at an MSME Development and Facilitation Office or Branch Office and will provide operational, programme implementation, stakeholder coordination, research and analytical support for strengthening MSME facilitation and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support routine administrative and service-delivery activities of the assigned field office.
- Handle walk-in, telephone, email and digital queries received from MSMEs and other stakeholders.
- Provide guidance to MSMEs on government schemes, registrations, eligibility requirements and documentation.
- Support beneficiary onboarding, application processing, document verification, application tracking and communication with applicants.
- Assist in enterprise visits, cluster mapping, industrial surveys and collection of field-level information.
- Coordinate with State Government departments, District Industries Centres, banks, KVIC, Technology Centres, industry associations, educational institutions and other stakeholders.
- Support the organization of awareness programmes, workshops, outreach campaigns, stakeholder consultations and capacity-building programmes.
- Prepare and maintain meeting minutes, MIS reports, progress reports, outreach trackers, field-visit reports and other operational records.
- Support preparation of IEC material, localized content, success stories, FAQs and simplified scheme guides.
- Contribute to MSME landscape reports, sectoral assessments, market research and identification of local business opportunities and constraints.
- Support analysis of field data, stakeholder feedback, scheme adoption and implementation bottlenecks.
- Assist MSMEs in understanding regulatory requirements, quality standards, certifications, access to finance, market linkages and export opportunities.
- Participate in fortnightly, monthly and other review meetings.
- Undertake other activities assigned by the concerned MSME field office, the Office of the Development Commissioner (MSME) or the Ministry of MSME.
