Work Profile

Smart Metering Data Management

• Manage, validate, and monitor smart metering data from multiple sources and systems.
• Ensure data quality, completeness, accuracy, and consistency across metering platforms.
• Analyze meter data, identify anomalies, and support issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain data validation, reconciliation, and reporting processes.
• Support regulatory, operational, and business reporting requirements.

Integration & System Coordination

• Gather, document, and manage smart metering integration requirements.
• Coordinate integration activities between smart meter head-end systems, Meter Data Management Systems (MDMS), billing systems, customer platforms, and other enterprise applications.
• Understand and support data flows, APIs, file-based integrations, and communication protocols used within smart metering environments.
• Work with technical teams to troubleshoot data exchange and integration issues.
• Assist in integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities.

Client Engagement

• Act as a primary point of contact for clients on smart metering data and integration-related matters.
• Conduct requirement-gathering workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Provide regular project updates, issue tracking, and status reporting to clients.
• Build strong client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Documentation & Governance

• Prepare functional specifications, integration documents, process flows, and user guides.
• Maintain data governance standards, security requirements, and compliance documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to smart metering operations and integrations.

Skills

• 3–8 years of experience in smart metering, utility operations, meter data management, or system integration roles.
• Strong understanding of smart metering data lifecycle and meter-to-cash processes.
• Experience working with Meter Data Management Systems (MDMS), Head-End Systems (HES), AMI platforms, or utility applications.
• Knowledge of data integration concepts, APIs, web services, ETL processes, and data exchange mechanisms.
• Experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and client-facing engagements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
