Senior Consultant – SAP GTS

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Consultant – SAP GTS to lead and deliver end-to-end SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) implementations. The ideal candidate will have strong functional and configuration expertise in SAP GTS, hands-on project experience, and the ability to work closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure global trade compliance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP GTS implementation, rollout, and upgrade projects
• Design, configure, and deploy SAP GTS modules including:
• Compliance Management
• Customs Management
• Preference Management
• Risk Management
• Conduct business requirement gathering, process analysis, and solution design
• Configure SAP GTS integration with SAP ECC / S/4HANA
• Handle sanctioned party screening, embargo checks, legal control, and export/import compliance
• Support testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) and defect resolution
• Provide production support, issue analysis, and performance optimization
• Prepare functional specifications, solution documents, and user training materials
• Guide junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and global stakeholders
• Support pre‑sales activities, solution estimations, and proposals when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• 8+ years of SAP experience, with 5+ years in SAP GTS
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP GTS configuration and integration
• In-depth understanding of global trade regulations, customs processes, and compliance
• Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA integrations
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and lead workstreams
• SAP GTS Certification is a strong plus

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to S/4HANA GTS (Edition for SAP HANA)
• Experience in global rollout or multi-country implementations
• Client-facing experience in consulting environments
• Knowledge of IDocs, RFCs, and middleware integrations
• Exposure to agile or hybrid delivery models
