Your work profile
- Configure and support SAP MM processes across procurement and inventory functions.
- Manage end-to-end processes including:
- Purchase Requisition (PR)
- Request for Quotation (RFQ)
- Purchase Orders (PO)
- Goods Receipt (GR)
- Invoice Verification (IV)
- Vendor Management
- Subcontracting
- Stock Transfers
- Support procurement lifecycle management and material master governance.
Inventory Management & Warehouse Operations
- Manage inventory processes across multiple warehouses and storage locations.
- Configure and support:
- Inventory Tracking
- Stock Movements
- Physical Inventory
- Cycle Counting
- Stock Reconciliation
- Material Valuation
- Optimize inventory levels and improve stock visibility.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and support audit requirements.
SAP Quality Management (QM)
- Configure and support SAP QM processes.
- Manage:
- Quality Planning
- Inspection Planning
- Quality Notifications
- Incoming Material Inspection
- Vendor Quality Evaluation
- Non-Conformance Management
- Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
- Support quality compliance and reporting requirements.
SAP IS-U Integration
- Collaborate with SAP IS-U teams to support utility-specific material and inventory processes.
- Manage inventory requirements for utility assets including:
- Meters
- Transformers
- Switchgear
- Network Equipment
- Field Service Materials
- Maintenance Spares
- Support integration between:
- SAP MM
- SAP QM
- SAP PM
- SAP IS-U
- SAP FI/CO
- Ensure accurate material consumption and asset-related inventory transactions.
Project Delivery & Support
- Gather and analyze business requirements.
- Conduct workshops with procurement, warehouse, quality, and utility operations teams.
- Prepare functional specifications and configuration documents.
- Support implementation, rollout, migration, enhancement, and support projects.
- Execute unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and deployment activities.
Reporting & Compliance
- Develop inventory, procurement, and quality-related MIS reports.
- Support internal, statutory, and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with inventory control policies and procurement governance standards.
- Prepare business process documentation and SOPs.
Key skills required
- 6–10 years of SAP consulting experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in: SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP Inventory Management
SAP QM (Quality Management)
- Experience in inventory control, warehouse management, and procurement processes.
- Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation project.
- Strong integration experience with SAP PM and SAP FI/CO.
- Experience working in SAP IS-U or utility sector environments.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Procurement and Inventory Management.
- Knowledge of SAP EAM (Enterprise Asset Management).
- Exposure to SAP Warehouse Management (WM) or Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
- Experience with utility asset and meter inventory management.
- Familiarity with mobile inventory and field service management solutions.
- SAP MM/QM Certification preferred.
