 Your work profile

Functional Test Engineer responsible for end-to-end functional validation of business applications.

Focus on scenario understanding, test case design, and execution across UI and APIs.

Use basic automation and scripting skills to support testing activities and improve efficiency in manual testing. This is a pure IC role with no lead or architecture responsibilities.

Key skills required: 

Functional Testing (Primary)

3–6years of experience in Functional / Manual Testing with automation exposure.

Understand BRDs, functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Design and execute functional test cases including positive, negative, edge, and exception scenarios.

Perform manual testing for UI, API, and end-to-end flows.

Validate data accuracy across UI, API, and backend systems.

Execute smoke, sanity, regression, and UAT test cycles.

Log defects with clear RCA, evidence, and business impact.

Support release and post-deployment validation.

Maintain test artifacts and defect metrics.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
