Work you’ll do
As a Manager in our SAP Team, you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with
teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -
SAP FICO should have:
- Should have at least 9 years of relevant experience in SAP FICO
FI-GL Lead Responsibilities
- Lead General Ledger design and configuration.
- Chart of Accounts, Account Groups, Number Ranges.
- New GL, Document Splitting, Parallel Accounting.
- Month-end/Year-end closing activities, accruals, provisions, GR/IR clearing.
- GST, TDS, Withholding Tax, Reverse Charge configuration.
- Integration with FICA for real-time GL posting.
- Account determination for IS-U Billing, Device Management, and Meter Reading processes.
2. FI-AP Lead Responsibilities
- Lead Accounts Payable design and configuration.
- Vendor Master, Payment Terms, Withholding Tax.
- MM integration for Invoice Verification (MIRO), PO-based invoicing, Service procurement.
- Automatic Payment Program (F110) setup and enhancements.
- Handling all vendor payments, EBS integration (Bank Statements), Check Management.
- Vendor reconciliation, AP Aging, GR/IR clearing.
- Bank interface configuration with utility-specific payment workflows.
3. Treasury (TRM) Specialization
- The consultant will act as the Treasury Lead responsible for:
Cash & Liquidity Management
- Daily cash positioning and cash flow forecasting.
- Cash concentration structures and bank communication setup.
- Cash Management “Next Generation” (if S/4 environment).
Bank Relationship & Account Management
- House bank structure, Account IDs, Bank Key creation.
- Signatory controls and banking workflows.
- Integration of bank formats (MT940, BAI2) for utilities.
In-House Cash & Payment Processing
- Payment factory setup (if applicable).
- Correspondence and reporting for intercompany payments.
- Bank Communication Management (BCM) / DMEE mappings.
Treasury Transactions
- Handling basic investment, borrowing, and financial instrument processes (Money Market, Loans, Deposits).
- Interest calculation, accrual/adjustment postings.
- Treasury Sub-ledger integration with FI-GL.
4. IS-U / FICA Integration
- Integration between FICA and FI-GL/AP for:
- Contract Accounts
- Main/Sub Transactions
- Payment Lots, Return Lots
- Dunning & Installment Plans
- Security Deposits and Interest Calculation
- Validation of Meter-to-Cash (M2C) cycle posting to Finance.
- Support for lockbox, meter reading, billing-to-cash posting scenarios.
5. Data Migration Leadership
- Lead migration for GL, AP, Treasury, and FICA integration balances:
- GL Balances
- Vendor Masters & AP Open Items
- Bank Master, House Banks, Signatories
- Treasury instrument migration (if applicable)
- Reconciliation of trial balance, AP, and treasury positions after mock loads.
6. Testing & Cutover
- Prepare test scripts for GL, AP, Treasury, and FICA-FI integration.
- Support Unit Testing, SIT, UAT cycles.
- Drive cutover activities:
- Vendor open items
- Bank master and layout migration
- GL balances
- Payment configuration transport sequence
7. Support & Enhancements
- Handle L2/L3 issues for GL, AP, Treasury, and FICA integration.
- Review and guide WRICEF objects (Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, Reports).
- Support payment gateway integrations, bank connectivity, and treasury process improvements.
8. Stakeholder Management
- Conduct workshops with Finance, Treasury, Audit, and Cash Management teams.
- Work with CXOs, Utility Financial Controllers, Billing and Revenue departments.
- Mentor junior consultants and ensure high-quality deliverables.
IS-U / FICA
- Contract Accounts
- Main/Sub transaction setup
- Dunning, Payment lots, Security Deposits
- Integration with Billing/Invoicing & Metering
- Leadership capability and customer-facing experience
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in engineering – Computer Science in IT /B. E / B. Tech or MBA would be preferred.
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
- Willingness to travel for short- and long-term durations
