As a Manager in our SAP Team, you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -
SAP Finance Professional should have:
- Should have 10–14 years of overall SAP experience with a minimum of 6–8 years in SAP FICO and at least 2 full-cycle SAP IS-U implementation projects.
- Lead the FICO stream in the SAP IS-U implementation project, working closely with functional and technical teams.
- Conduct detailed requirement analysis, fit-gap assessment, and business blueprinting sessions with utility sector clients.
- Design and configure FI-CA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable) to support IS-U billing and invoicing processes.
- Integrate FICO with IS-U components (Billing & Invoicing, Device Management, and Customer Service).
- Configure key FICO modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP) / Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Controlling (CO-CCA, COPA, PCA), Bank Accounting.
- Manage FI-CA integration with FI-GL and reconciliation processes.
- Support migration of open items and balances from legacy systems to SAP (via LSMW or migration cockpit).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SD, MM, PM, IS-U) for end-to-end process validation.
- Design and validate taxation, dunning, payment, and clearing configurations relevant to utilities.
- Support Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles.
- Prepare and validate Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) for WRICEF developments (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms).
- Provide cutover planning and post-go-live support for FICO-related processes.
- Mentor junior consultants and ensure compliance with SAP best practices and client standards.
Required Skills and Expertise:
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO configuration and FI-CA specific to SAP IS-U.
- Expertise in integration between IS-U Billing/Invoicing and FI-CA/FI-GL.
- Solid understanding of Utility-specific financial processes, including:
- Customer payment and dunning processes
- Reconciliation key management, Posting area configuration
- Integration with Device Management and CRM (if applicable)
- Experience with end-to-end implementation, including blueprinting, realization, testing, and deployment.
- Knowledge of SAP enhancement framework and working with ABAP development teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and client interaction skills.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance (preferred but not mandatory).
Desired qualifications
- B.E/B.Tech/CA / MBA- Finance/ Cost Accountants
- Certification in SAP Finance is mandatory
- 10 years of relevant experience in management or consulting oriented environment
- Willingness to travel for short- and long-term durations.
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
Location and way of working
- Base location: Kolkata
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and cloud solutions.
- Knowledge of other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and PP
