Work you’ll do

 

As a Manager in our SAP Team, you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with

teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

 

SAP MM+WM should have:

 

  • Should have at least 8 years of experience specialized in Procurement, Warehouse Management, and IS-U Device Management integration. Strong expertise in S/4HANA RISE implementation projects with hands-on configuration, WRICEF support, data migration, and end-to-end Meter-to-Inventory processes for utilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Design & Configuration (MM & WM): Lead end-to-end SAP MM & WM functional design for IS-U utilities. Configure core MM processes: Material Master & Service Master, Procurement (PR, PO, Contracts), External Services Management (ESM), Inventory Management & Goods Movements, Account Determination, Material Valuation & Price Control

Configure WM processes: Warehouse Structure (Storage Types, Bins, Sections),Put-away & Picking Strategies, Transfer Orders/Requirements, Physical Inventory,Integration with IM & Production/Service processes

  • Integration with SAP IS-U: Integrate MM with IS-U Device Management, Metering, and Work Management. Support interfaces for: Meter procurement & tracking, Device installation/replace/remove processes, Work order-based material consumption from PM/DM, Collaborate with IS-U Billing, FICA, Finance, PM, and SD teams.
  • S/4HANA RISE Specific Responsibilities: Utilize S/4HANA innovations such as:
  • Business Partner (BP) approach, FIORI apps for Procurement & Warehouse users, MRP Live and advanced MRP capabilities, Fiori-based approval workflow, Knowledge of AATP, Advanced Returns, and SAP Inbound/Outbound delivery enhancements. Experience with Migration Cockpit (LTMC/LTMOM) for S/4 data loads.
  • WRICEF & Technical Coordination- Prepare Functional Specifications for: Interfaces with legacy systems (Meters, Inventory, Procurement), Mobility apps for stores and warehouse staff, Custom reports (Stock reports, Vendor performance), Enhancements for Utility procurement processes, Coordinate with ABAP, PI/PO, CPI teams for technical builds.

 

 

 

  • Testing & Deployment- Prepare test scripts and drive: Unit Testing, SIT

UAT with business teams, Perform WM simulations, cycle counting, and physical inventory testing. Lead cutover activities for materials, stock load, and warehouse readiness.

  • Data Migration- Lead migration of: Material Masters, Service Masters, Vendor Masters

Open POs, Contracts, Stock quantities, storage bin assignments. Validate data and perform reconciliation with business teams.

  • Stakeholder Management- Conduct workshops with Procurement, Warehouse, Stores, and Metering teams. Support business in preparing SOPs for material movement and inventory control. Provide training and mentoring for end users.
  • Required Skills & Expertise- Core MM Skills,   Procurement (PR, PO, RFQ, Contracts, Scheduling Agreements), Vendor evaluation & Source Determination, External Service Procurement (ESM), Material Valuation & Account Determination, GR/IR, Movement Types, Batch & Serial Management, Warehouse Management Skills, WM Organization Structure, Transfer Orders / Transfer Requirements, Put-away/Picking Strategies, Physical Inventory
  • Stock replenishment & WMS reports, Integration Expertise, SAP IS-U Device Management & Metering, SAP PM Work Orders (material consumption), FI/CO integration (account posting), SD integration (delivery documents), S/4HANA & RISE Skills, Fiori Apps (Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse), BP (Business Partner) role handling, Embedded analytics for MM/WM reporting, Experience with S/4HANA Cloud Connector/CPI (preferred)
  • Ability to lead workshops and business discussions
  • Good understanding of the utility industry (Generation/Transmission/Distribution)

  • Experience with EWM (Embedded EWM in S/4HANA)
  • Knowledge of Ariba, Fieldglass, or third-party procurement systems
  • Mobile WM (RF devices, barcode scanning)
  • Exposure to utility regulatory requirements (meter stock, asset tagging)

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Graduate degree in engineering – Computer Science in IT /B. E / B. Tech or MBA would be preferred.
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Willingness to travel for short- and long-term durations
