Job Description: SAP SAC Consultant (SAC Planning & SAC Analytics and Reporting)

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant specializing in SAC Planning and SAC Analytics & Reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing SAC solutions to support business decision-making processes. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, understanding business requirements, and delivering high-quality SAC solutions to meet organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

SAC Planning:

• Design and implement SAC Planning models to address business needs in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Develop complex calculations, data transformations, and input forms to enable effective planning processes.
• Configure data integration with SAP and non-SAP systems to populate planning models.
• Set up workflows, data locking, and version management to streamline planning cycles.
• Provide support for what-if scenarios, variance analysis, and predictive planning functionalities.

SAC Analytics & Reporting:

• Design and deliver SAC stories and dashboards for advanced analytics and interactive reporting.
• Develop models and visualizations that provide actionable insights across different business functions (e.g., finance, sales, supply chain).
• Create KPIs, charts, and custom widgets to enhance decision-making capabilities.
• Optimize data connectivity with various data sources (SAP BW, S/4HANA, HANA, Excel, etc.).
• Troubleshoot performance issues in dashboards and improve story execution time.

Skills and Competencies:

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning and Analytics modules.
• Hands-on experience with SAC data modeling, scripting (Advanced Formula), and planning functions.
• Expertise in connecting SAC with various data sources, including SAP BW, HANA, and third-party systems.
• Knowledge of predictive features in SAC and experience with Smart Predict.
• Understanding of SAC security concepts, including roles, teams, and data access control.

Functional Skills:

• Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Expertise in delivering user-friendly and visually appealing dashboards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in SAP Analytics, with at least 2+ years in SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Experience in SAC Planning and Analytics projects across multiple industries.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, or other SAP products is highly desirable.
• Certification in SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus.
