Job Title: Java Backend Developer
Experience: 3–8 years
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Java Spring Boot Developer to join our backend engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable RESTful APIs and backend services using Java and the Spring Boot framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs using Java Spring Boot.
  • Implement secure, scalable, and efficient backend solutions.
  • Integrate backend services with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams.
  • Troubleshoot and debug production issues as needed.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Ensure best practices for performance, security, and reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Java (8/11/17+).
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security.
  • Experience with RESTful API development.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with Maven/Gradle, Git, and version control workflows.
  • Familiarity with Docker, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to Kubernetes, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis.
  • Experience with performance tuning and load testing tools.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (Angular/React) is a bonus.
