Role Overview

We are hiring a Consultant / Senior Consultant to support a flagship engagement focused on

developing strategy for better price realisation of farmers for selected commodities, enabling better

procurement and building a robust food processing ecosystem in Uttar Pradesh.

You will help design strategies and be architect of market linkage solutions, enable data-driven

decision making, and drive adoption across key stakeholders. This role directly aims to improve farm

gate price realization and help build robust food processing units to boost secondary sector GSVA

through agriculture.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop strategic roadmaps that enable aggregation, quality assurance, traceability, and

transparent procurement of agricultural commodities.

- Design data models and analytics frameworks to track procurement flows, pricing trends, FPO

performance, and identify use cases like predictive planning and risk monitoring.

- Engage with FPOs, large commodity buyers, and government departments to align on

requirements of different stakeholders to make procurements better with governance, and policy

incentives.

- Help structure market interventions and digital linkages that directly improve farm gate price

realization.

- Support initiatives that enable establishment of robust food processing units, thereby boosting

secondary sector GSVA through agriculture-led industrialization.

- Prepare dashboards, executive updates, and reports to track milestones and demonstrate impact.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

- MBA with 3-6 years of experience in the commodities industry or commodities-focused consulting.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex commodity

operations into tech-led solutions.

- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.

- Willingness to travel extensively across Uttar Pradesh.
