Job Title: Senior Consultant – Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Finance

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Finance Consultant to support implementation, configuration, enhancement, and support of Oracle E-Business Suite Financial modules. The consultant will work closely with business users, functional teams, and technical teams to deliver reliable financial solutions aligned with business and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and support Oracle EBS Financial modules including:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Cash Management (CM)
• Fixed Assets (FA)
• Purchasing (PO) (finance integration)
• iExpenses / iProcurement (as applicable)
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into Oracle EBS financial solutions
• Configure financial setups such as:
• Chart of Accounts
• Legal entities, ledgers, and operating units
• Accounting calendars and currencies
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes
• Prepare functional design documents (MD050), setup documents, and test scripts
• Perform unit testing, system testing, UAT support, and production deployment
• Work with technical teams on:
• Reports (BI Publisher, XML, FSG)
• Interfaces, conversions, and extensions (RICEFW)
• Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues and data discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements
• Provide end-user training and post-go-live support

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5–8+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle EBS Finance modules
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP / IFRS)
• Proven experience in Oracle EBS R12 (preferred)
• Experience with multi-org, multi-currency, and multi-ledger environments
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle EBS Finance certification
• Experience with EBS upgrades or migrations
• Exposure to Oracle Financials Cloud (Fusion) is a plus
• Experience in manufacturing, retail, or service industries
