Senior Integration Consultant – Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

Experience

6–8 years in enterprise integrations, middleware, and Oracle Cloud technologies, with hands-on integration experience involving Oracle IDAM

Role Summary

The Senior Integration Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-grade integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). The role requires strong technical expertise in OIC and proven experience integrating with Oracle Identity and Access Management (IDAM) modules to support secure and compliant business processes.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

Design and develop integrations using OIC Gen2 (App Driven, Scheduled, and Basic integrations)
Build REST and SOAP-based integrations with Oracle Fusion, IDAM, and third-party applications
Implement file-based integrations using OIC File Server (SFTP)
Design fault handling, tracking, logging, and reprocessing mechanisms
Manage lookups, packages, integrations, and environments in OIC

Oracle IDAM Integration Experience

Integrate OIC with Oracle IDAM components:
Oracle Identity Governance (OIG)
Oracle Access Manager (OAM)
Oracle IDCS / OCI IAM
Enable secure integration using OAuth2, JWT, SAML, and certificates
Support identity lifecycle events (provisioning, de-provisioning, role changes) via integrations
Work with IDAM teams to align integration design with security standards

Security & Architecture

Implement secure integration patterns and token-based authentication
Manage certificates, keystores, wallets, and OCI IAM policies
Ensure integrations comply with security, audit, and governance requirements
Perform performance tuning and scalability validation

Delivery & Collaboration

Participate in technical architecture and design reviews
Prepare technical design documents and integration specifications
Mentor junior integration consultants
Support SIT, UAT, go-live, and production support

Required Skills & Experience

Core Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC Gen2)
Solid experience integrating with Oracle IDAM modules (OIG, OAM, IDCS / OCI IAM)
Expertise in REST/SOAP services, JSON, XML, and XSD
Strong knowledge of OAuth2, SAML, OpenID Connect, and JWT
Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting

Integration Knowledge

Understanding of synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns
Experience with error handling, retries, and reprocessing strategies
Exposure to SOA Suite / OSB or other middleware platforms is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Oracle OIC certification (preferred)
Exposure to Oracle Fusion Cloud integrations
Experience in cloud or hybrid integration landscapes
