Senior Manager – Oracle Identity & Access Management (IDAM)
Experience
12+ years in Identity & Access Management, Security Architecture, and Oracle Security Solutions
Role Summary
The Oracle IDAM Senior Manager will lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise-scale identity and access management solutions using Oracle IAM technologies. This role requires strong leadership, deep technical expertise, and client-facing capabilities to drive IAM strategy, delivery excellence, and security compliance across large organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
- Define enterprise IAM strategy aligned with business, security, and compliance requirements
- Lead multiple Oracle IDAM programs and large delivery teams across geographies
- Act as a trusted advisor to CIO, CISO, and security leadership
- Establish IAM governance models, policies, and best practices
- Drive presales, solutioning, effort estimation, and proposals for IAM engagements
Architecture & Solution Design
- Design end-to-end Oracle IAM architecture for on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments
- Architect secure access models including RBAC, ABAC, and least-privilege access
- Define integration patterns with ERP, HCM, CX, EPM, custom apps, and third-party systems
- Ensure scalability, high availability, DR, and performance of IAM platforms
Implementation & Delivery
- Lead implementation of:
- Oracle Identity Governance (OIG)
- Oracle Access Manager (OAM)
- Oracle Unified Directory (OUD) / Internet Directory (OID)
- Oracle IDCS / OCI IAM
- Oversee user lifecycle management: joiner-mover-leaver (JML) processes
- Implement SSO, MFA, adaptive authentication, and privileged access integrations
- Manage data migration, upgrades, and version transitions
- Ensure secure integration with cloud platforms (OCI, Azure AD, AWS IAM)
Compliance, Risk & Security
- Ensure IAM compliance with SOX, GDPR, ISO 27001, HIPAA, RBI, and other regulatory standards
- Define and enforce access certification, segregation of duties (SoD), and audit controls
- Support internal and external audits and security assessments
- Implement monitoring, logging, and incident response integration
Stakeholder & Client Management
- Lead customer workshops, requirement discovery, and design sign-offs
- Manage senior client stakeholders and executive steering committees
- Coordinate with infrastructure, application, cloud, and security teams
- Mentor and grow IAM architects, consultants, and developers
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle IAM stack:
- OIG, OAM, OUD, OID, IDCS / OCI IAM
- Deep understanding of:
- Authentication & Authorization
- SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, LDAP, Kerberos
- Federation, SSO, MFA
- Experience integrating IAM with:
- Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP, HCM, SCM)
- Legacy ERP, custom applications, and APIs
- Exposure to scripting and automation (Shell, Python, REST APIs)
Management & Consulting Skills
- Program and portfolio management experience
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Experience managing large teams (15–50+ members)
- Presales, RFP responses, solution estimation, and delivery planning
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- Oracle IAM certifications (OIG, OAM, OCI Security)
- CISSP / CISM / TOGAF certifications (preferred)
- Experience with Zero Trust and cloud-native security models
