The team

 

Work Profile

  • Lead end-to-end database migration and modernization projects from legacy systems to modern data platforms.

  • Analyze and profile existing database architectures, perform schema mapping, data conversion, and structural refactoring.

  • Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and database performance through execution plan analysis and indexing strategies.

  • Execute database modernization initiatives, including zero-downtime schema migrations and CI/CD integration.

  • Manage migrations across Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL environments.

  • Utilize migration tools such as Oracle ODI, Oracle GoldenGate, AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), and Azure Database Migration Service.

  • Collaborate with application developers, DevOps engineers, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless migration planning and production cutovers.

  • Validate data integrity, troubleshoot migration issues, and implement best practices for scalable, high-performance database environments.

 

Key Skills Required

  • Education: Any bachelor's/ master’s degree of B.Tech/ B.E or any related field

  • Strong expertise in Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), PostgreSQL, and MySQL.

  • Hands-on experience in enterprise database migration, modernization, and re-platforming projects.

  • Advanced SQL performance tuning, query optimization, execution plan analysis, and indexing strategies.

  • Experience with schema conversion, database refactoring, and data migration methodologies.

  • Proficiency in Oracle ODI, Oracle GoldenGate, AWS DMS, and Azure Database Migration Service.

  • Knowledge of database architecture, data modeling, and modern database engineering practices.

  • Experience with zero-downtime deployments, CI/CD integration, and DevOps practices.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and deliver enterprise-scale database transformation projects.
