Work you’ll do
The primary role is to make immediate, direct contributions to enhancing our clients’ competitive position and performance in ways that are distinctive, innovative, and sustainable.
To do this, one must perform the following activities within the firm:
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Finance solutions (FI, CO, FSCM, S/4HANA Finance).
- Partner with client CFOs, finance leaders, and IT stakeholders to streamline processes across accounting, controlling, treasury, and reporting.
- Manage project delivery, governance, and client communications ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Drive FinOps transformation by aligning SAP capabilities with business objectives, cost optimization, and compliance requirements.
- Oversee teams, mentor consultants, and contribute to capability building within the practice.
- Engage in pre-sales, solutioning, and thought leadership initiatives to strengthen Deloitte’s SAP offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end SAP Finance transformation programs, from requirement gathering to deployment.
- Conduct workshops, blueprinting, and solution design sessions.
- Ensure SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions are integrated seamlessly with business operations.
- Provide insights into finance transformation trends including automation, analytics, and cloud adoption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, HR, Technology, Risk) to deliver integrated solutions.
- Monitor financial operations (FinOps) KPIs and ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications Required:
- MBA/CA/CPA or equivalent with 0- 1yrs years of consulting/industry experience.
- Strong experience in SAP Finance (FI/CO, FSCM, Asset Accounting, Group Reporting).
- Proven track record in managing large teams and client relationships.
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with SAP Cloud, Central Finance, and integration with non-SAP systems.
- Knowledge of emerging finance technologies (RPA, AI/ML in Finance, data analytics).
- Industry experience in sectors such as Consumer, Energy, Financial Services, or Life Sciences.
- Global project delivery and stakeholder management exposure.
