Your work profile
As a Assistant Manager in the Infra & Real Estate team you will focus on (a) Business Development and (b) management and delivery of client engagements. In this role, the person is also expected to lead teams and supporting them to make an impact that matters and setting the direction to deliver exceptional client service.
- Work as part of a team, analyzing industries, companies and markets to drive unique insights to aid clients’ strategic decisions.
- Assist in execution of strategy and CDD mandates including but not limited to market research, preparation of market assessment reports, preparation of business case, feasibility studies, marketing collaterals, bid process management etc.
- Review documents and support the team though all stages of the project.
- Support the project lead in client management and communication including preparation of business development pitches, sector POVs, etc..
- High commitment to learn and deliver across the project lifecycle.
- Well versed with decarb industrials and infrastructure value chain incl. power and renewables, electrical equipment manufacturing, EV value chain, circular economy, etc.
- This is a client-facing role, which might involve interaction with corporate CXOs and investment teams of financial sponsors and asset managers.
- Work with some of the most intellectually stimulating clients
- Perform high quality analysis within timelines and with minimum supervision
- Display energy, positive attitude and team work on engagements and act upon feedback and coaching received
- Attempt to increase realization per hour on projects by working efficiently and minimizing inefficiencies.
- Establish strong connections with the client team and keep them engaged on key findings during the course of project
- Should have the ability to draw out conclusions from the project modules where they are responsible
Key skills required:
- A post-graduate degree in management from a leading Indian or global business school
- Sector handled must – Energy, Renewables
- Exceptional quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Outstanding oral and written communication
- Ability to develop and analyse financial statements
- Ability to work in unstructured environments and to tight deadlines
- Experience in strategy or M&A, with a consulting firm, would be an added advantage
- Focused on high quality service
- Fluency in written & verbal English
