About Our Team

The Conflicts/ independence team is a central team which assists the engagement team in the client and acceptance procedure. The team works closely with the business and function across service line to provide them evaluation of the conflicts. The team works on the set procedures and policies provided by Global team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Have working experience on the area of Risk management.
  • Monitor and review the risk diligence procedure and provide query support to team members relating to such procedures.
  • To be able to display good analytical skills in the work performed.
  • Provide an excellent customer-oriented attitude and experience to the clients (internal teams) by guiding and offering them the most appropriate solutions about the process.
  • Display adaptability to learn new processes, concepts, and skills.
  • Maintaining appropriate SLA’s required as per the process.
  • Be able to work within a team environment, lead a team to 4 or 5 members, manage multiple activities; coordinate with team members and managers.
  • Apply professional skepticism and sound judgment to understand and guide the clients in engagement acceptance processes
  • Demonstrate strong task management skills and should be able to work with limited or no supervision.
  • Be a self-starter to take up activities of importance and those which make a lasting impact.
  • Be able to work within a team environment, manage multiple activities and coordinate with seniors and managers.
  • Exhibit good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Timely deliver work with no/minimal errors.
  • Be proactive in all the communication-ability to document and communicate the results of conflicts.
  • Ability to work on creating SOP’s, Guidance’s etc. for the process.
  • Be committed to self-development, seeking to understand own strengths and weaknesses, has self-confidence and a sound work ethic.
  • Have the ability to work efficiently with teams located in different geographies, as the role requires to connect with counter-parties in different geographies.
  • Be able to assist in any compliance-related assignments that may arise from time to time.
  • Excellent skills in usage of office tools like Excel, Word and PowerPoint

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified CA / Postgraduation in Finance.
