The team

Real Assets Advisory includes comprehensive services offered to our member firms which includes services such as valuation and PPA analysis, audit services, advisory & market research, IFRS & US GAAP accounting, portfolio services, lease accounting & administration, strategic consulting, etc.

 

We work as an extension of our Deloitte member firms’ business modelling practices and provide dedicated support throughout the project lifecycle. Working on international assignments involving cross-border and cross-service line teams allows you to build your networks across the vast Global Deloitte network.

Your work profile

As an Assistant Manager in our Real Assets Advisory Team, you will build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations.

 

As an Assistant in our CFA Real Asset Advisory practice you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. You will be: 

  • Supporting clients to identify new office locations, define the outline requirement and stand up the programme to relocate and deliver new workplace its staff.
  • Defining the CRE and FM strategy for the delivery of facilities and workplace services transformation programme.
  • Supporting in preparing new target operating model for client organisations, including the supply chain and service delivery models.
  • Creating and implementing procurement strategy for global tender of CRE & FM activities, including preparation of tender materials through to supplier negotiations
  • Preparing robust business cases supported by detailed strategic sourcing and category plans, including an in-depth analysis of potential service delivery models.
  • Define and challenge client requirements and identify means of solving commercial and real estate problems
  • Be responsible for providing day to day oversight and support for more junior team members
  • Be a strong team player, capable of fulfilling different roles within project team
  • Support and coordinate specific bids that align with your goals 
  • Support Deloitte member firms’ (Canadian, UK, Australian, Middle East and Europeans) real estate valuation practice
  • Provide guidance to, supervise and review the work of junior team members
  • Liaise and develop relations with engagement team members in Canada, Australia, UK, Middle East and Europe as required
  • Work towards tight deadlines, adding value to complex and high-profile projects
  • Demonstrate strong business diagnostic skills and the ability to apply a logical and analytical approach to problem solving

 

Key skills required: 

In order to be considered for the role, your competencies will cover the broad scope of business modelling services, leveraging your professional background and skills such as:

  • Civil Engineer
  • MBA preferably in Real estate
  • MRICS certified members will be preferred
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • In-depth understanding of Corporate Real Estate or Facility Management
  • Experience with any real estate firms such as CBRE, JLL, Savills, C&W etc.
  • Good power point presentation skills and advanced excel skills
  • Good interpersonal skills - confident communication style to allow effective communication with on-shore clients. Audit teams and Deloitte clients.
  • Proven analytical and systematic problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent track record and strong academic achievements
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proactive and an inquisitive mind, with a passion to provide world class client service
