Job Title: Assistant Manager | IFRS | Mumbai | Accounting & Reporting Assurance
- You should have good experience of working in a finance function or managing a client’s finance function on an end to end basis
- You should have experience in reviewing and processing transactions from a GL perspective including recording / reviewing entries for assets, liabilities, investments, borrowings, fixed assets, employee related transactions etc.
- You should have good exposure on reconciliation related activities such as reconciliation of bank statements to books, customer account reconciliations, related party reconciliations, accounting of taxes, investments, borrowings etc.
- You should be able to prepare monthly management reporting statements including balance sheet, statement of profit & loss, budget vs actuals, ageing analysis for various headers etc.
- You should be able to run and manage monthly closing activities according to the pre-agreed timelines
- Take ownership of client engagements in respect of their finance and accounting requirements, manage, monitor and deliver SLAs and KPIs and develop sound business relationships.
- Lead deployment of latest technology solutions relevant to our services and pursue continuous innovation to bring efficiencies in the operations and service offerings.
- You should be able to communicate with multiple teams within Deloitte and also as a client stakeholder
- You should have good experience of data entry, master data management, accounting, journal entry, book closure and reporting in ERP. Should have practical exposure in ERP.
- You should have exposure in preparation of financial statements (preferably under Ind AS)
- You should be able to coordinate with auditors for resolution of queries, preparation of audit documentation
- Assist in client acquisition and team management
- Ensure three-way link between Partner, other professionals, and clients.
- Actively mentor team members to maximize their contribution to achieve required outcomes.
- Undertake business development initiatives by meeting and assistance in presenting service offerings to potential clients
- Assist in creating eminence in the market.
