Job Title:  Associate Director | Financial Services | Mumbai | Customer Strategy & Design

Deloitte is actively hiring an experienced Associate Director to join our Corporate Banking Advisory practice. In this leadership role, you will work closely with CXOs and senior executives of leading banks and financial institutions to drive large-scale transformation across transaction banking, corporate lending, operating model modernization, and digital enablement

Role Description:

Lead large, complex corporate banking transformation engagements from strategy through execution, covering areas such as and not limited to

·     Transaction banking transformation such as Trade & supply chain finance transformation etc.

·     Corporate lending lifecycle transformation (origination to monitoring)

·     Loan origination and loan management system (LOS/LMS) advisory

·     Target Operating Model (TOM) design

·     Cost optimization and productivity improvement

·     Digital, data, and analytics enablement in corporate banking

Must have deep understanding of corporate banking products and processes and build domain capability within the Corporate Banking practice.

As of the engagement delivery,

·     Oversee project governance, risk management, and quality assurance.

·     Ensure delivery excellence, commercial performance, and client satisfaction.

·     Lead multidisciplinary teams across onshore and offshore locations.

·     Coach and mentor Managers and team of Consultants.

As part of the business development,

·     Will lead proposal development, RFP responses, and commercial negotiations.

·     Identify new opportunities within existing accounts and build strategic relationships.

·     Contribute to thought leadership (whitepapers, market insights, industry reports).

·     Support practice revenue targets and pipeline expansion.

Drive structured problem-solving, analytical rigor, and delivery excellence, along with Commercial acumen and revenue growth mindset.

Qualification and Skills

9-15 years of experience in:

·     Corporate Banking (Business, Risk, or Operations), or

·     Management Consulting with focus on Corporate Banking

Demonstrated experience leading multi-workstream transformation programs.

Experience managing large client accounts and driving revenue growth.

MBA / CA / CFA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Strong program management and transformation leadership capability.

Ability to manage ambiguity and complex stakeholder ecosystems.

Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.

Executive presence with ability to influence C-suite stakeholders
