Job Title:  Deputy Manager | Treasury Accounting | Mumbai - Commerz III | Accounting & Reporting Assurance

BFSI experience 
• Expertise and prior work experience in technical accounting (Financial Instruments and hedge 
accounting) is a must
• Accounting for all Treasury instruments (Bonds, FX including Derivatives reporting such as 
Interest rate Swaps and Cross Currency interest rate swaps, Options, Bond Forward etc)
• Practical experience on application of Hedge Accounting (including hedge documentation and 
hedge effectiveness testing) under IFRS/Ind AS, US GAAP and ICAI guidance note. Such 
experience should include: 
✓ Assistance in accounting for designated hedge P&L classified to OCI, appropriate 
release from OCI, hedge ineffectiveness entries, mark-to-market entries, etc. 
Identifying key assumptions and understanding the impact of various inputs into 
valuation models, deriving creative solutions that involve collecting and analyzing 
market data used in the hedge effectiveness testing, analyzing third party valuations, 
challenging assumptions, and performing sensitivity analyses
✓ Assistance in preparation of hedge documentation and hedge 
assessment/measurement for derivatives including credit valuation adjustment (CVA), 
netting, and collateral adjustment.
• Accounting for complex areas like embedded derivative, debt vs equity, compound instruments 
etc.
• Professional experience with CA or consulting firm should comprise of at least of these elements-
✓ Accounting whitepapers
✓ Complex accounting services
✓ GAAP conversions (either first time or regular reporting)
✓ Multi- GAAP reporting (i.e. separate regulatory GAAP and parent reporting GAAP)
✓ SEC filings and other US GAAP reporting
