The team

The Enabling Area – Information Technology team is responsible for building & maintaining different applications for Deloitte South Asia that focuses on providing employee experience.

Your work profile

 

As a Senior Executive in our IT Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

 

We are looking for a skilled ASP.NET, JavaScript and SQL Developer with strong experience in integrating custom applications with Tableau. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of back-end and front-end development, database scripting, and visualization integration to deliver interactive business intelligence solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Integrate custom applications with the Tableau platform using APIs, Tableau JavaScript API, and Tableau Server/Online.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Web applications using ASP.NET and JavaScript.
  • Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Collaborate with BI developers and data teams to embed Tableau dashboards within applications.
  • Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and seamless integration between back-end systems and Tableau.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to code, queries, and integrations.
  • Participate in code reviews, requirement analysis, and provide technical recommendations.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–4 years of professional experience in software development.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in ASP.NET (C# / MVC / Core) and JavaScript (ES6+, jQuery, frameworks preferred).
  • Proficiency in SQL Server: Writing queries, stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with Tableau integration (Tableau Server, Tableau Online, Tableau JavaScript API, REST API).
  • Good understanding of web services / APIs (REST, SOAP).
  • Ability to troubleshoot Tableau embedding, authentication (SSO, Trusted Authentication), and performance issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.

 

Good to Have (Preferred)

  • Experience with version control systems (Git, TFS).
  • Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies.

 

Desired qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.

 

Location and way of working

 

  • Base location: Mumbai
  • This profile does not involve extensive travel for work.
