Work you’ll do
As a Deputy Manager in our Financial Modeling team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality advisory and modeling services to clients across sectors. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop, review, and enhance financial models that support strategic decision-making.
You’ll:
· Lead or support engagements involving model development, review, and audit across sectors such as infrastructure (HAM, toll roads, ports), renewable energy (solar, wind, hydrogen), BFSI, real estate, Insurance and startup etc.
· Design, build, and test financial models incorporating scenario and sensitivity analysis, ensuring robustness and transparency.
· Execute model development and review assignments independently or as part of a team, including secondment opportunities.
· Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations to enhance financial model usability and support decision-making using tools like Excel & Power BI
· Maintain and strengthen client relationships through consistent delivery and communication.
· Collaborate with global teams and contribute to cross-border engagements.
· Mentor junior team members and support onboarding and integration of new recruits.
· Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and development of modeling best practices.

Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
· Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field (e.g., CA, CMA, ACMA, CGMA, CFA, MBA, Engineering + MBA)
Location: Mumbai
Experience:
- Minimum 3–6 years of relevant experience in financial modeling.
- Candidates from FP&A backgrounds with strong modeling exposure and interest in financial modeling roles are encouraged to apply.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced Excel skills including financial functions, scenario modeling, and dynamic structures.
- Proficiency in Excel VBA, Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot, and Python is highly desirable.
- Exposure accounting standards (Ind AS, IFRS, US GAAP), and tax mechanisms is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset with a client-focused approach.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Professionals with hands-on experience in financial modeling across sectors or in FP&A roles involving forecasting, budgeting, and strategic analysis.
- Candidates with exposure to infrastructure, energy, BFSI, or real estate sectors will be preferred.
- Experience in model audit, transaction advisory, or valuation support is a strong advantage.
