OFSAA Functional Consultant

Job Title: Consultant (OFSAA)

Location: Mumbai

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Analysts/ Regulatory reporting professionals with 3-5 years of experience in implementation/management of regulatory reporting solutions, which enable reporting of ECL based provisions under IFRS9 or reporting of risk weighted assets under Basel-III.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting, maintaining, and optimizing our OFSAA implementation, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for system enhancements and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

a)      Work closely with business and IT teams to implement, maintain, and troubleshoot the OFSAA solution.

b)      Understand and document the business requirements, translate the business requirements to technical team and conduct SIT and UIT to validate the system output

c)      Lead the preparation of BRD, and Design document for different modules of OFSAA.

d)      Develop, and document SQL queries for data extraction and execution of data sanity checks within the OFSAA framework.

e)      Monitor and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across various OFSAA modules.

f)       Participate in the design and development of data models, ETL processes, and reporting solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:

a)      Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in configuration/ ownership of systems for computation of ECL based provisions or risk weighted assets under Basel-III.

b)      Sound knowledge of core concept of IFRS-9/ CRAR computation under Basel-III norms

c)      Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, especially in data analysis and interpretation.

d)      SQL Expertise: Strong SQL skills for querying, data extraction, transformation, and performance tuning.

e)      Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical teams.

f)       Documentation skills: - Experience in drafting requirement & design documents, user training manuals

Preferred Skills:

a)      Exposure to LLFP and Basel Regulatory Capital analytics Modules of OFSAA

b)      Liaison with internal / RBI auditors on regulatory reporting under Basel norms/ Ind-AS 109/ IFRS9.

c)      Understanding of regulatory compliance and financial reporting requirements.

Educational Requirements:

a)      Engineer with MBA- Finance or Chartered Account with strong domain knowledge

b)      Relevant certifications in PLSQL, Oracle, or OFSAA would be an added advantage.
