Work you’ll do
The primary role is to make immediate, direct contributions to enhancing our clients’ competitive position
and performance in ways that are distinctive, innovative, and sustainable. To do this, one must perform
the following activities within the firm:
SAP IBP Professional should have:
The Ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP IBP for Supply & Response, including supply planning strategies, order-based planning (OBP), heuristics, optimizer configuration, and integration with SAP S/4HANA or ECC. Candidate should have experience in Net Requirement Planning (NRP), Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP)/ Deployment & TLB, Material Requirement Planning (MRP).
Daily tasks:
• Implement and configure SAP IBP for Supply & Response to support supply planning and response planning processes.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into system configurations.
• Design and optimize supply planning algorithms, including heuristic and optimizer-based planning.
• Configure allocation planning, fair share distribution, and constraint-based planning.
• Integrate SAP IBP with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and external data sources.
• Develop and maintain planning models, key figures, and analytics using SAP Fiori and Excel UI.
• Conduct system testing, user training, and provide post-implementation support.
• Troubleshoot issues and enhance system performance for demand-supply balancing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including demand planning, inventory, and procurement.
Any specific expectation from the job role:
Should have at least one end to end implementation experience OR else minimum 3 years of support experience in IBP R&S module.
Qualification Criteria
• Education backgrounds - BE or Equivalent
• Soft skills - Strong Communication skills desired
• Travel readiness - Should not have constraints to Travel as and when required
Number of years of relevant work experience
• 3 to 6 years of overall relevant experience in SAP related engagement with a focus on IBP for Supply & Response.
• Strong understanding of supply planning methodologies, including heuristic, optimizer, cost modelling, and allocation strategies.
• Experience in integrating SAP IBP with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, or other ERP systems.
• Good functional understanding of SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI-DS) or SDI/ RTI data integration.
IBP desired / added advantage skills in detail
• SAP IBP certification (added advantage) in Supply & Response Planning.
• Knowledge of SAP APO (Advanced Planning and Optimization) and transitioning to IBP.
