Your work profile:
- Investigate and resolve complex database issues escalated from L1 support.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries to support business operations.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring data-related problems.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve backend issues.
- Monitor database performance and suggest improvements.
- Maintain documentation for recurring issues, resolutions, and query templates.
- Support data migration, transformation, and validation activities.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
Location and way of working:
- Base location: Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad
- This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations.
- Hybrid is our default way of working. Each domain has customized the hybrid approach to their unique needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in SQL support or database administration.
- Proficiency in writing and debugging complex SQL queries (e.g., joins, subqueries, indexing).
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
- Good communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
