Snowflake: Consultant 

Role Overview: 

As a Snowflake Data Consultant, you will be responsible for the successful implementation, management, and optimization of data warehousing solutions. This role includes designing scalable data architectures, managing data pipelines, and ensuring the seamless performance of Snowflake environments to meet client requirements. 3-5 years of experience with Snowflake cloud data warehousing, including data modeling, pipeline development, and environment management. 

Key Responsibilities: Technical Skills: 

• Design, deploy, and manage Snowflake resources, including databases, warehouses, and storage integration. 
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and Snowpark functions to ensure high performance. 
• Configure and maintain data pipelines using ETL/ELT tools to ingest data into Snowflake from various sources. 
• Optimize Snowflake performance through effective clustering, partitioning, and resource monitor management. 
• Implement and manage data security, including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and data masking within Snowflake. 
• Utilize Snowflake features such as Time Travel, Zero-copy Cloning, and Data Sharing to enhance operational efficiency. 
• Managerial Skills: 
• Support project delivery by assisting in planning, execution, and meeting technical milestones. 
• Oversee day-to-day data operations, including troubleshooting data pipeline failures and performance bottlenecks. 
• Drive continuous improvement in data quality and architectural best practices. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data availability and accuracy for business stakeholders. 
• Communicate technical status and data insights effectively to clients and internal stakeholders. 
• Should have a good understanding of working within an ITIL or Agile framework. 

Soft Skills: 

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities. 
• Ability to work collaboratively with data engineers, architects, and business analysts. 
• Flexibility to meet critical project deadlines and support production environments as needed. 

Qualifications: 

• B.E./ B.Tech. or M.C.A. in Computer Science from a reputed University
