Work you’ll do

As part of the Audit and Assurance Team of Deloitte India, you will be responsible for enabling companies to enhance their sustainability reporting practices, and meet emerging ESG regulatory compliance, reporting & assurance requirements.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Business Responsibility & Sustainability Report (BRSR) advisory and assurance
  • Skillset in helping assurance readiness services
  • Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) advisory and assurance and reporting skills
  • Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) / IFRS S1 & S2 / Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) advisory and assurance
  • Integrated Reporting <IR> advisory
  • ESG advisory (i.e., materiality assessment, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) impact / Social Return on Investment (SROI) assessments, environmental impact assessment)
  • Assisting with specialist knowledge for GHG, environmental, water, waste, carbon and other emerging areas.
  • Keep a track or trends and how reporting could be affected

Requirements:

 

  • Proven experience in ESG reporting and sustainability practices.
  • Strong understanding of ESG frameworks such as GRI, TCFD, and emerging regulatory requirements like CSRD.
  • Experience with Integrated Reporting (IR).
  • Familiarity with IFRS S1 and S2 standards beneficial.
  • Experience in conducting ESG-related parameter audits/assurance engagements under ISEA 3000 standards is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

 

Location and way of working.

  • Base location: Mumbai
  • This profile involves frequent travelling to client locations.
