Your work profile
As a Deputy Manager in our Financial Modeling team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. You’ll:
- Take an active role in delivering advisory services to high growth organizations with a diverse team
- Be a part of team to design, develop and test models taking into consideration various scenarios and sensitivities the model will be exposed to.
- Actively execute model development / model review engagements.
- Independently perform modeling work in secondment opportunities.
- Executing assignments within deadlines, providing value add to clients, maintaining client relationship
- Create long term relationships with Deloitte member firms
- Achieve expertise in a specialization
- Facilitate the integration process of new recruits
- Take an active role in contribution to the working environment of the team
Key skills required:
In order to be considered for the role, your competencies will cover the broad scope of business modelling services, leveraging your professional background and skills such as:
- CA /CFA/MBA Finance or equivalent
- Strong excel skills - other relevant technical analytical skills could also be an advantage e.g. Excel VBA, Power BI, SQL, Power Query.
- Knowledge of Advanced Excel, strong mathematical and quantitative skills
- Having followings will be advantageousKnowledge of Monte Carlo Simulation technique
- Knowledge of Indian accounting standards / IFRS / US GAAP
- Experience in using valuation tools, including Bloomberg, financial research portals etc.
- Expected to possess:
- Strong conceptualization skills and ability to convert plans to actions
- Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills backed by an enthusiastic approach and a diligent client focus.
- Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong external consulting or advisory experience is a plus
