Job Summary:

Deloitte is seeking a dynamic and experienced HSE to join our Audit & Assurance Team. The role involves delivering end-to-end HSE consulting services across industries, including regulatory compliance, risk management, ESG integration, and stakeholder engagement. This position requires a proactive individual with strong analytical capabilities, industry knowledge, and experience in implementing practical and strategic HSE frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive HSE consulting services including:
    • Third-party HSE audits
    • Gap assessments against legal and client-specific requirements
    • Risk assessments and incident root cause analysis
    • Capacity-building and HSE training for clients
  • Develop, customize, and implement HSE management systems and frameworks aligned with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and industry-specific standards.
  • Conduct compliance assessments and evaluate Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) implementation, documentation, and control measures to improve operational safety at client sites.
  • Analyze data and performance indicators to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations for continuous HSE performance improvement.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure risk-based decision-making and integration of best HSE practices into business operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Post Graduation Diploma from state recognized technical board
  • ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) Lead Auditor Certification and ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management System) certifications are preferred.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in HSE domain preferably in consulting, risk management, or auditing roles
  • Strong knowledge of international HSE regulations and industry practices
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams and diverse industry clients
