Work you’ll do
Your role
The Treasury, Liquidity and Capital team forms part of Deloitte’s SRT practice and specialises in partnering with Financial Services clients undergoing regulatory or strategic change. We provide specialist advisory support delivered by subject matter experts across three core client offerings: (i) Regulatory, (ii) Data & Technology, and (iii) Operating Models, Process & Controls.
The Treasury, Liquidity and Capital team wishes to recruit high calibre individuals – across Senior Consultant, Manager, Senior Manager and Associate Director levels – with skills and experience in regulation, risk management, treasury, liquidity, and capital, which are crucial areas of expertise for delivery of our client engagements.
You will deliver client engagements focusing on prudential regulation across Capital and Liquidty, providing in depth skills and exertise in both technical and practical understanding of the regulatory framework, ensureing that we can deliver solution-orientated outcomes for complex regulatory driven challenges in partnership with our clients.

The role will have responsibility for:
· Working with a range of client stakeholders, and being seen as a subject matter expert within client organisations and by colleagues, developing and maintaining deep industry relationships and knowledge
· Contributing to the development and growth of the practice by sharing knowledge, setting an example, and helping team members to develop through training and talent initiatives
· Lead client projects by managing client relationships, developing the scope and engagement plan, managing team members, engagement financials, and overseeing the production of high-quality deliverables
· Co-ordinating internal practice development by participating in proposition, methodology and point of view development activities and supporting knowledge capture and sharing
· Establishing and building a network of contacts across Deloitte and peer networks within our clients
· Developing proposals for new client opportunities and having an integral role in industry and account teams
Your professional experience
To qualify for the role, you must have:
· Experience of working with market leading Financial Services organizations in Treasury, Liquidity or Capital, including the ability to assess and challenge drivers of capital and liquidity-related risks
· Strong understanding of the SREP and ICAAP/ILAAP approach under EBA and PRA regulatory requirements
· Mandatory Capital or Liquidity knowledge and experience in regulatory requirements
· Capital markets and/or wholesale banking knowledge and experience from previous role(s)
· Experience from a role covering regulatory capital or liquidity across regulatory reporting/policy, finance, treasury, or risk
· Post-secondary degree in Business or Finance or Risk is preferred
· Technical designation in Accounting, Risk or Finance is advantageous (CFA, CA, MBA, FRM)
· Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience in developing and managing senior client and stakeholder relationships
· Experience of developing junior staff and mentoring team members
· Strong analytical and project management skills with experience leading and working in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver on high-profile and complex transformation engagements in a fast-paced project environment
· A delivery record of successful projects and programs focused on regulatory and/or strategic change
· Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage a significant and demanding workload under pressure
· Self-sufficient and proactive professional, with ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders
· Ability to engage and work with senior stakeholders at and above the Director level both internally and externally
· Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrable ability to quickly establish credibility with client and project teams
· Ability to think creatively, generate innovative ideas, challenge the status quo and deliver effectively to ambitious requirements
· A proactive mind-set, with the ability to take responsibility and drive key actions forward
