DevOps Lead – Development Role Overview:

We are seeking a DevOps Lead for a FSI client to drive DevOps strategy and execution across development teams. The role involves leading CI/CD implementation, cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevSecOps practices while ensuring compliance with banking standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor DevOps engineers across multiple development teams

Own end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for development and pre-production environments

Define DevOps architecture, standards, and best practices

Collaborate with application, QA, security, and infrastructure teams

Drive DevSecOps adoption across the SDLC

Manage cloud infrastructure and container orchestration platforms

Oversee release management, versioning, and deployment strategies

Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of systems

Handle incident management, root cause analysis, and improvements

Ensure compliance with ICICI Bank’s security and audit requirements

Technical Skills Required:

Strong expertise in Linux/Unix systems

CI/CD tools: Jenkins / GitLab CI / Azure DevOps

Containers & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift

Cloud platforms: Azure / AWS Infrastructure as Code: Terraform / Ansible

Monitoring & logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk

Version control: Git (GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket) Scripting: Shell / Python

Security & Governance: Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles

Experience with security tools (SAST, DAST, secrets management)

Familiar with BFSI compliance, audit, and governance processes

Leadership & Soft Skills:

Proven experience leading DevOps teams

Ability to coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Experience working in large enterprise or banking environments

Experience & Qualifications:

7–12 years of overall IT experience

3+ years in a DevOps Lead / Architect role

Prior BFSI experience preferred
