Your work profile

We are seeking a strong Programme Manager with a PMO and analytics background to lead the delivery and continuous improvement of an enterprise reporting and analytics service. The role demands strong PMO discipline, excellent communication and coordination, rigorous quality assurance, and confident business stakeholder management. Reporting is delivered primarily through Power BI, underpinned by an Azure data estate. The service supports a cyber-security reporting portfolio, so domain awareness of security reporting is valued as a secondary skill.

Key Responsibilities:

•        Provide end-to-end programme and PMO leadership — planning, governance, dependency tracking, and reporting against milestones and delivery roadmaps.

•        Establish and run PMO disciplines: governance cadence, status reporting, risk and issue management, resource tracking, and stage-gate control.

•        Own the analytics and reporting delivery roadmap, coordinating data engineering and Power BI workstreams across Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure SQL.

•        Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders and steering committees, translating delivery and analytics performance into clear executive reporting.

•        Lead change management across the programme — planning, communicating, and embedding process, tooling, and reporting changes with minimal disruption to stakeholders.

•        Manage the continuous improvement backlog and drive service upliftment and automation across the reporting estate.

•        Coordinate delivery across data engineering, analytics, and reporting workstreams, managing hand-offs, timelines, and cross-team dependencies.

•        Own quality assurance across the reporting estate — defining QC controls, reconciliation, and functional testing to ensure data accuracy and report reliability.

•        Ensure delivery quality, SLAs, and KPIs are consistently met, with root-cause analysis and remediation where needed.

•        Coordinate delivery for the cyber-security reporting portfolio, working with security stakeholders to align reporting to their needs.

Service Upliftment & Adoption

•        Drive adoption and usage of the security reports across business and leadership, actively growing the active user base and engagement.

•        Champion and communicate new features, updates, and report releases, ensuring stakeholders understand and take advantage of new capability.

•        Identify and deliver automation opportunities to streamline data ingestion, refresh, and reporting workflows, reducing manual effort and turnaround time.

•        Continuously mature reporting quality and analytics capability, translating stakeholder feedback into a prioritised upliftment backlog.

•        Run enablement and demo sessions (e.g. onboarding, feature walkthroughs, user guides) to embed usage and reduce support demand.

•        Monitor usage and adoption metrics to measure impact and target further upliftment and automation efforts.

Key skills required

Minimum 10–12 years' relevant experience with a strong programme management / PMO track record and a hands-on analytics background. Experience engaging senior/executive stakeholders and leading change is essential. Indicatively:

•        7+ years in programme management / PMO, running governance, RAID, roadmaps, and stage-gate delivery at enterprise scale.

•        4+ years delivering data & analytics initiatives, with strong Power BI and Azure data platform exposure.

•        2+ years leading change management initiatives across process, tooling, or ways of working.

•        Exposure to cyber-security or security-analytics reporting as a domain.

 •        Strong PMO discipline — governance, dependency and milestone management, status reporting, and stage-gate control.

•        Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including executive-quality reporting and presentation.

•        Strong coordination skills — orchestrating multiple workstreams, teams, and dependencies to deliver on time.

•        Rigorous quality assurance mindset — defining and enforcing QC controls, reconciliation, and testing to guarantee data and report accuracy.

•        Confident business stakeholder management, engaging and influencing at executive / steering-committee level.

•        Strong analytics and reporting delivery background, with hands-on Power BI experience (semantic models, RLS, workspaces/audiences, refresh).

•        Solid working knowledge of the Azure data estate: Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure SQL, and Azure Data Lake.

•        Demonstrable change management experience.

•        Formal programme/project certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, MSP) or equivalent demonstrable experience.

•        Awareness of cyber-security domains and reporting: vulnerability management, IAM/RBAC, attack surface management, email security.

•        Familiarity with cyber-security tooling, such as:

o  Vulnerability management / scanning (e.g. Qualys, GVM, Invicti)

o  Attack surface & security ratings (e.g. BitSight, Akamai)

o  Cloud security posture (e.g. Wiz)

o  Asset intelligence / CAASM (e.g. Axonius)

o  Privileged access management (e.g. CyberArk, BeyondTrust)

o  Email security & awareness (e.g. Proofpoint, KnowBe4)
