Your work profile

• Lead SAP ABAP delivery across implementation, rollout, migration, transformation, enhancement, and AMS engagements, ensuring high-quality and timely project execution.
• Drive technical solution architecture and development strategy for SAP programs, aligning technical solutions with business objectives and enterprise standards.
• Manage the end-to-end delivery of SAP technical objects, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEFW).
• Lead SAP S/4HANA development initiatives leveraging ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model), and Embedded Analytics.
• Collaborate with functional and business teams across MM, SD, FICO, PP, EWM, HCM, Ariba, Retail, and other SAP modules to design scalable technical solutions.
• Review business requirements, prepare technical designs, and oversee development activities to ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.
• Conduct technical design reviews, code quality assessments, security compliance reviews, and development governance activities.
• Drive performance optimization, technical troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution of critical SAP application issues.
• Lead SAP integrations utilizing REST APIs, SOAP Services, IDocs, RFCs, ALE, SAP CPI/Integration Suite, and other enterprise integration technologies.
• Support SAP S/4HANA transformation, migration, upgrade, and custom code remediation initiatives.
• Manage project planning, estimation, resource allocation, delivery tracking, and stakeholder communication across multiple SAP engagements.
• Participate in client workshops, architecture reviews, steering committee discussions, and technical governance forums.
• Lead, mentor, and develop SAP ABAP consultants and technical teams while fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
• Manage production support escalations, critical incidents, and service delivery commitments.

Key Requirements

• 9-12 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA technologies.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience leading SAP technical teams and managing technical workstreams.
• Strong expertise in ABAP Programming, Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP), ALV Reports, Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, Workflows, Enhancement Framework, BAdIs, User Exits, BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, and ALE.
• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA development technologies, including CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, RAP Framework, and Embedded Analytics.
• Strong knowledge of SAP technical architecture, development lifecycle management, and SAP application design principles.
• Hands-on experience integrating SAP applications using REST APIs, SOAP Services, SAP CPI/Integration Suite, IDocs, and enterprise integration frameworks.
• Experience leading technical estimations, solution architecture reviews, delivery planning, project governance, and quality assurance activities.
• Strong understanding of SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP BTP, Business Application Studio (BAS), SAP Build, and SAP Integration Suite.
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA migration, transformation, RISE with SAP, and custom code remediation projects.
• Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Git-based repositories, and automation frameworks is highly desirable.
• Strong stakeholder management, project leadership, communication, presentation, and team management skills.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall delivery environments.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Master's degree or MBA is an added advantage.
• SAP ABAP, SAP S/4HANA Technical, SAP BTP, or SAP Fiori certification is preferred.
• Additional certifications in Integration Suite, SAP Architecture, Agile, Scrum, or Project Management will be an added advantage.
• Experience leading large-scale SAP transformation programs and global delivery engagements is highly desirable.
