The Team
 

We work as an extension of our Deloitte member firms Value Creation Services (VCS) and Turnaround & Restructuring (T&R) practices and provide dedicated support throughout the project lifecycle, which includes our three key offerings
 

Working on international assignments involving cross-border and cross-service line teams allows you to build your networks across the vast Global Deloitte network and develop understanding of the global PMI standards.

 

The team is now developing its current capability across within the ‘International Capability Centre’ (ICC) in Mumbai which caters to the UK, European, Middle East and Canadian Deloitte firms.

 

Work you’ll do

 

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our offshore claims management team as an Executive/Senior Executive. In this role, you will assist in processing claims efficiently and accurately while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

 

This is a “contractual” role for a long-term project, with an initial duration of six months, followed by renewals for up to one year, based on overall performance. It’s an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in claims management and develop expertise in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

 

  • Assist in the processing of claims from initial intake to final resolution, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Review claim documents and information provided by clients to determine validity and eligibility for processing.
  • Collaborate with team members to gather necessary information and documentation to support claim processing.
  • Maintain accurate records of claim status, updates, and correspondence in the company database.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and other stakeholders to obtain additional information and clarify claim details.
  • Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Participate in training sessions and ongoing professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge in claims management processes.

 

 

Eligibility

 

Graduate/Postgraduate – Freshers or candidates with 6 months to 1 year of experience.

 

 

 

 

 

Skills Required

 

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in claims management or a similar administrative role is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.

 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of insurance industry practices and terminology is a plus.
