Your work profile

We are looking for the DevOps and DevSecOps Architect who will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-wide strategies to integrate development, operations, and, crucially, security into a seamless, automated, and efficient software delivery lifecycle. They act as technical leaders and evangelists, ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.

 Key skills required: 

• Strategic Planning and Architecture: Define and implement the overall DevOps/DevSecOps architecture, strategy, and roadmap across the organization.

• CI/CD Pipeline Design and Automation: Architect, design, and maintain robust Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, automating build, test, and deployment processes using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

• Security Integration ("Shift Left"): Embed security practices into every phase of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (known as "shift left"), including automated security testing, vulnerability scanning (SAST, DAST), and compliance checks.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Select, implement, and enforce IaC standards using tools like Terraform or Ansible to provision and manage cloud-native, cloud-enabled, and on-premises infrastructure securely and consistently.

• Cloud and Container Management: Design and manage scalable, high-availability infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), utilizing containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Monitoring and Incident Response: Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, SIEM tools) to ensure system health, performance, and prompt incident response and post-mortem analysis.

• Collaboration and Mentorship: Foster a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility among development, operations, and security teams. Mentor and guide engineers on architecture decisions and secure coding principles.

• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure systems and processes adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR), performing risk assessments and audits.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Management, or a related field

• 6+ years in software development, DevOps, or platform engineering roles, with at least 3-5 years in a specialized architect or security-focused role. Prior hands-on coding experience is a plus.
