The team

The Deloitte South Asia strategic growth team serves as a central pillar driving growth and transformation within DSA, spanning several business lines and various technology functions.  We are established as a centralized team collaborating across consulting, implementation, and operation to maintain and enhance client value offerings and services. We innovate conventional approaches, leveraging Deloitte technology, differentiated domain expertise, intellectual property, talent, and capacity to embed continuous advantage and deliver enhanced business value.

In this team, our focus is on catering to the unique needs and preferences of clients in the South Asia region. Your role within this dynamic team is essential for establishing networks and relationships across the client stakeholder ecosystem and ensuring service fulfillment. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with other Deloitte leadership and stakeholders dedicated to the client. Your contributions will involve nurturing new and existing relationships, supporting presales life cycles, and playing a pivotal role in driving the success of DSA business growth for the specific client.

Your work profile

We are seeking a experienced and passionate AWS Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide operational support for cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring their availability, performance, and security. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including patching, upgrades, and system monitoring, to maintain a healthy system.

Responsibilities:

• Hands on experience and knowledge of native AWS tools (S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena, Redshift) and a good understanding of a typical cloud-based data lake architecture and its typical components .
• Knowledge of project management tools (like MPP, Jira, Confluence)
• Knowledge of devOps tools like GIT
• Experience working with clients proactively.

• Design and architect secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate AWS services and solutions for various use cases.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to internal teams and stakeholders on all aspects of AWS.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions on AWS technologies and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest AWS services, features, and best practices.
• Lead and participate in cloud migration projects, ensuring seamless transition and minimal downtime.
• Identify and implement opportunities to optimize existing cloud infrastructure for cost and performance.
• Analyze and evaluate existing IT infrastructure and workloads for potential migration to the cloud.
• Develop and automate infrastructure deployment and management processes.
• Work collaboratively with IT and development teams to ensure smooth operation of cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including developers, operations, and security personnel.
• Advocate for and promote best practices for adopting and utilizing AWS services across the organization.
• Share knowledge and mentor colleagues on AWS technologies and cloud best practices.

Desired qualifications

• Experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Proven experience with core AWS services, including EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, and IAM, DR Strategies along with Backup Management, Patch Management, performing OS and other upgrades, managing releases, and administration tasks.
• Configure and Manage Alert, Audit, Security Part for AWS Environment.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience with using PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting language.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or equivalent expertise.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with serverless computing platforms like AWS Lambda.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
• Billing and cost management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
