Job Title: Azure Database Support SME

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Azure Database Support SME to provide expert-level support, maintenance, and optimization for our organization’s Azure databases and other cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in managing and troubleshooting Azure-based databases, with a focus on performance tuning, high availability, disaster recovery, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide deep technical support for Azure Databases, Azure Managed Instances, and related cloud-based data services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex database-related issues, including performance issues, query optimization, replication, and availability problems.
  • Manage and optimize the performance of SQL databases in Azure, ensuring efficient operations and minimal downtime.
  • Implement backup and recovery strategies and ensure high availability and disaster recovery configurations (e.g., Geo-replication, Azure Backup, and Site Recovery).
  • Lead database migrations from on-premise systems to Azure Database or Azure Managed Instances.
  • Work with development teams to optimize database designs, queries, and data models for cloud environments.
  • Monitor and report on database performance, uptime, and other metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in SQL Server (on-premises and in the cloud), including query optimization, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with database automation, scripting, and performance monitoring tools in the Azure environment.
  • Knowledge of Azure networking, security practices, and disaster recovery strategies for databases.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory, RBAC, network security groups, and other Azure security configurations.

Job Title : ITSM Process Lead – Program Governance (Senior Consultant, SME)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled ITSM Process Lead to oversee program governance and ensure the effective implementation and management of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes. As a Senior Consultant and Subject Matter Expert (SME), the ideal candidate will drive process optimization, govern ITSM initiatives, and provide strategic guidance to achieve organizational objectives.

This role requires extensive knowledge of ITSM frameworks, program governance best practices, and a proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

ITSM Process Leadership:

  • Design, implement, and oversee ITSM processes such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Level Management.
  • Act as the SME to ensure alignment of ITSM processes with business objectives and ITIL best practices.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and service delivery.

Program Governance:

  • Lead governance activities for ITSM programs, ensuring adherence to defined standards, policies, and frameworks.
