Your work profile

The Senior SAP Basis Consultant is responsible for planning, implementing, administering, monitoring, and supporting SAP landscapes, including SAP S/4HANA systems. The role includes system installations, upgrades, migrations, performance tuning, security administration, high availability, disaster recovery, transport management, and technical support throughout the project lifecycle, including Go-Live and Hypercare.Experience

Key skills required

• 6–8 years of SAP Basis administration experience
• Minimum 3–5 years of SAP S/4HANA implementation and migration experience
• Experience in at least 2–3 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation or conversion projects
• Experience with SAP RISE, SAP HANA, and cloud environments is preferred

Manage end-to-end SAP Basis administration activities across SAP landscapes.

• Perform SAP installations, system refreshes, upgrades, kernel upgrades, and patch management.
• Administer SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW, Solution Manager, Fiori, and SAP BTP environments.
• Monitor SAP systems for performance, availability, and capacity planning.
• Handle SAP transport management and landscape coordination.
• Perform database administration activities for HANA/Oracle/SQL databases.
• Support SAP HANA administration including backup, recovery, and performance optimization.
• Execute system copies, client copies, and landscape refresh activities.
• Manage SAP security-related Basis activities including user administration and authorization support.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, cloud, and network teams for system setup and maintenance.
• Support high availability and disaster recovery configurations.
• Troubleshoot SAP system issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, governance, and audit requirements.
• Support implementation, rollout, migration, and AMS projects.
• Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and operational guidelines.
• Mentor junior Basis consultants and provide technical leadership.
