Job Title: Senior Consultant – SAP PAPM (Profitability and Performance Management)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Consultant – SAP PAPM with 6–9 years of experience in designing, configuring, and delivering end-to-end solutions in SAP Profitability and Performance Management. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of financial processes, performance management principles, and SAP architecture, especially within S/4HANA and HANA environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with business stakeholders and functional teams to gather requirements and design scalable SAP PAPM solutions.
- Configure and implement SAP PAPM models including allocation logic, process flows, calculations, and rules based on business needs.
- Perform data modeling, integration with SAP S/4HANA, BW, or third-party systems, and design high-performance logic using HANA capabilities.
- Translate business performance requirements into technical specifications and deliver optimized PAPM applications.
- Participate in end-to-end implementation phases – blueprinting, prototyping, testing, deployment, and hypercare support.
- Ensure technical documentation is created and maintained including functional specs, solution architecture, and user manuals.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of training materials for end-users and key business users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as SAP FI/CO, BW, SAC, and IT operations to ensure effective solution delivery.
- Provide ongoing support and enhancements post go-live as part of managed services or AMS activities.
- Maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor on SAP PAPM topics.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- 6–9 years of hands-on experience in SAP PAPM implementations, including at least 1 full-cycle end-to-end project.
- In-depth understanding of profitability analysis, cost allocations, performance modeling, and financial planning concepts.
- Strong skills in HANA modeling, SQLScript, and integration with SAP and non-SAP sources.
- Familiarity with SAP FICO, BW/4HANA, and SAP Analytics tools.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to clearly document and communicate technical and functional concepts to both business and technical audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal, team collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel based on project requirements.
Preferred Skills:
- SAP PAPM certification is a strong plus.
- Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BPC, or Group Reporting.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Industry experience in Financial Services, Manufacturing, Utilities, or Telecom is advantageous.
