Your work profile

We are looking for an experienced SAP MM Consultant with strong expertise in procurement, inventory management, and invoice verification processes. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end implementation, support, and optimization of SAP MM solutions, including integration with other modules and stakeholder management.

• Manage and support SAP MM processes including Purchasing, Service Management, Inventory Management, and Invoice Verification
• Design and configure Release Strategies, Master Data, and India Taxation (GST)
• Work closely with business users to gather requirements and prepare Business Blueprints (BBP)
• Map business requirements to standard SAP processes and identify gaps with appropriate solutions
• Collaborate with technical teams to prepare Functional Specifications (FS)
• Develop unit test cases, test scenarios, and support SIT & UAT cycles
• Plan and execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Provide inputs and guidance for Roles & Authorizations (R&A) design
• Prepare End User Training (EUT) materials and conduct training sessions
• Support data migration activities including master data and open transactions
• Ensure timely delivery and obtain client sign-offs on deliverables
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for issues and provide effective resolutions

Key skills required: 

• Strong experience in SAP MM (Materials Management)

Hands-on experience in:

• Purchasing & Procurement
• Inventory Management
• Invoice Verification
• Service Procurement
• Expertise in Release Strategy configuration and Master Data Management
• Good knowledge of India Taxation (GST, forms, compliance)
• Experience in S/4HANA and Fiori Apps (Standard & Custom)

Strong understanding of integration with:

• Production Planning (PP)
• Project Systems (PS)
• Finance (FI)
• Controlling (CO)
• Exposure to at least 1 end-to-end implementation project
• Experience in 2+ support projects, preferably domestic support
• Hands-on experience in India GST and taxation scenarios
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders and handling client interactions
• Exposure to PS-related projects
• Experience in Construction (EPC) or Real Estate domain
• Knowledge of Data Migration Cockpit (DMC)
• Experience in handling large-scale enterprise environments
• Educational Qualification- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
