Job Title:  Senior Consultant | SAP MM | Mumbai | SAP | DSA Practice

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation and support of SAP MM (Materials Management) solutions within retail projects
• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into SAP MM functional specifications
• Configure SAP MM modules including:
• Procurement processes
• Inventory Management
• Vendor Management
• Pricing & Release Strategies
• Drive integration with SAP SD, FI,MM, and Retail-specific functionalities
• Work on Retail business scenarios such as:
• Store replenishment
• Article master management
• Support design and implementation of S/4HANA MM solutions (preferred)
• Provide expertise in batch management, valuation, and material ledger (if relevant)
• Facilitate workshops, blueprint sessions, and client presentations
• Support data migration, UAT cycles, and cutover activities
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
• 6+ years of experience in SAP MM consulting
• Minimum 1–2 full lifecycle SAP implementations, preferably in retail industry
• Strong hands-on experience in:
• Procurement cycles (P2P)
• Inventory and warehouse processes
• Vendor evaluation and sourcing
• Experience with SAP Retail or IS-Retail is highly preferred
• Familiarity with S/4HANA is an advantage
• Strong understanding of integration points across SAP modules
• Proven ability to engage with business stakeholders and translate requirements

Preferred Skills

• Experience in large-scale retail transformations
• Knowledge of Fiori apps for MM
• Exposure to Ariba / procurement digital tools
• Understanding of IDOCs, interfaces, and basic debugging
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
